November marks the return of Ant & Dec!
If like us you love this time of year for all the fun and shenanigans Down Under in Australia, then you’ll be excited to learn that “I’m a Celebrity Get me Out of Here” is due to return to our screens for a 16th outing this November. It’s incredible to believe that the show has now ran since as far back as 2002 but this ever-popular show just keeps on giving and this year is set to be just a grim and nasty as years past.
The ITV franchise is stil yet to have a confirmed start date and as ever, the final line-up is also under close guard with many celebs being rumoured to give this year’s bush-tucker trials a go. Names touted to date include Louis Walsh, former professional footballer Paul Gascoigne, infamous transgender former athlete Caitlin Jenner, Playboy model Chloe Mafia, business mogul Duncan Bannatyne, X Factor choreographer Brian Friedman and former winner James Arthur, Union J’s Josh Cuthbert, television host Anne Robinson, EastEnders star Jake Wood, actress Leslie Ash and former Pussycat Doll Kimberly Wyatt amongst the list.
However, no one has been confirmed for definite apart from the two usual antagonist presenters Ant and Dec who surely have to get their comeuppance sooner or later? All we know is, the show is just a matters of days away and we can’t wait to see who will be dropped into the Australian bush by helicopter and put through their paces. Watch this space as they say!
The curtain comes down on Downton
With just a handful of episodes left to run, the coming end to the smash hit TV series will soon be upon us as the final episode of Downton airs on Sunday, November 8th on ITV from 9:00pm but don’t despair. As a parting gift, there will be the usual Christmas Special all nicely tucked away and saved up for us to enjoy over the festive period when the series will be wrapped up and completed for good.
Make sure you save the dates for the coming weeks but if you miss any of the shows, your Blade Stream box will enable you to watch Downton whenever you like using the integrated EPG or better still, why not save your favourite episodes to a memory stick? That way, you can watch Downton over and over again, whenever you wish!
The rugby comes to a close
Ok, so England failed to make any impression this year but it was without doubt, a memorable and exciting tournament. Wales gave the Aussies a real scare and Scotland were also denied glory if not for some very questionable referring decisions.
All we can agree on is the southern hemisphere is dominating international rugby union and the upcoming final at Twickenham, between New Zealand and Australia will decide who will be crowned World Champions. The match kicks off this Saturday, October 31st at 4:00pm with live coverage on ITV.
